"100 days" is special for all bone marrow transplant patients as that is usually when treatment is complete and recovery begins. Our kick-off on February 18, 2011 marked Jo's official 100th day post transplant. Jo was lucky that her brother, Eddie was a perfect match and now her bone marrow is 100% healthy and disease free! Most patients do not have a sibling or related match and must rely on the registry to find a donor. Jo and Carol Morris (one of Jo's caregivers during transplant) dedicate this drive to their new friends - the other transplant patients they met at MD Anderson. What an inspiration you all are!

Jo Thompson Szymanski and Carol Morris
